Hi, I'm Doug, I am a pro guitar player / teacher with 28 years experience.
I offer guitar tuition in the comfort of your own home.
Lessons for post-school students are from Monday to Thursday.
Mature aged students are from 10am to 8pm most days. (Subject to the times I perform)
I can teach you rock, jazz, acoustic, folk, country and blues.
If there are certain songs you would like to play, I will break them down for you to learn.
The areas of your natural playing ability will be focused on.
Theory will be evolved around learning chords, solo's, scales (modes) and fingerpicking.
I hold a current 'Blue Card'.
The hourly rate is subject to the distance I travel.
$45 to: Pacific Pines, Helensvale, Arundel, Parkwood, Coomera, Oxenford.
$50 to: Nerang, Carrara, Maudsland, Upper Coomera, Hope Island.
$55 to: Labrador, Southport, Runaway Bay, Highland Park, Worongary, Ashmore, Guanaba, Pimpama.
$60 to: West Coomera, Benowa, Paradise Point, Bundall, Merrimac.
$65 to: Ormeau, Chevron Island, Surfers Paradise, Broadbeach, Clear Island Waters, Tallai, Robina, Mudgeeraba.
My teaching method has proven to make students competent players within a small time frame.
The lessons are no pressure and self-paced.
